My work is an invitation to inhabit both light and dark *
A resistance to immediacy as being a measure of truth. A refusal to be pulled toward what is easiest and first. An insistence that light can coexist with gravity, and that staying is a quiet and necessary form of resistance.
I am an interdisciplinary artist based in Brooklyn, NY. Working across mixed media painting and sculptural installation, my practice approaches landscape as a living witness to human history. Layered narratives, suspended forms and immersive environments hold light and shadow, aftermath and continuity, all in close proximity. Rather than offering resolution, the work asks for attention to connection, break and shared presence.
